Finishes — common questions

How many finishes does Winkraft offer?

Nine production shades: Dark Oak, Golden Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, Rustic Oak, Anthracite Grey, Black Smooth, Flemish Gold, Smooth Grey, Rose Gold, Brush Gold.

What is the difference between woodgrain, solid and metallic?

Woodgrain finishes are laminated foils that reproduce timber grain on a uPVC or aluminium profile — the look of wood without the maintenance. Solid colours are through-coloured or powder-coated. Metallic finishes carry a light-reactive pigment, which is what gives Flemish Gold its shift under changing daylight.

Are all finishes available on every system?

Eight shades run across the whole fenestration range; the three metallics - Flemish Gold, Rose Gold and Brush Gold - are a slim internal partition option. Availability on a specific profile depth is confirmed on the window schedule.

Do the finishes need painting or polishing?

No. uPVC resists weathering, rust and termites, and aluminium is powder-coated or anodised. A wipe keeps both looking new — there is no repainting cycle.
