Aluminium Windows — common questions
How many aluminium windows systems does Winkraft make?
Winkraft manufactures 5 aluminium windows systems, built on ENCRAFT EKU aluminium profiles.
Should I choose uPVC or aluminium windows?
uPVC gives better thermal insulation through multi-chambered profiles and is maintenance-free, termite-proof and self-extinguishing. Aluminium carries larger spans and heavier glass on slimmer sightlines - the EKU Perfection Slide takes 500 kg per shutter. Winkraft manufactures both, so the choice is made per opening rather than per project.
What finishes are available?
Nine production shades: Dark Oak, Golden Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, Rustic Oak, Anthracite Grey, Black Smooth, Flemish Gold, Smooth Grey, Rose Gold, Brush Gold.
Does Winkraft install what it manufactures?
Yes. Winkraft manufactures rather than trades, and installs with its own trained site teams, so accountability runs from factory to handover.
What is the guarantee?
ENCRAFT profiles carry a 10-year guarantee. Profiles are ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and TUV Nord certified.
